Softly Thinking of you

This is the card I made for the parents of the young lady that left us suddenly last week- I am just going to get to the card as I am really having issues with this- the funeral is this afternoon so I am sort of stressed about that and hope it will help me accept such a loss.

This card is for the Week #44 - 'Sketch This'! at The Shabby Tea Room- I love this blog and have been trying to participate in a few of their challenges but by the time I get my project finished the next challenge is up.

For this card I cut a piece of A4 cardstock I had on hand to make a card finished size 5 1/4" square. Papers:-Rosies Studio- pearlized cardstock, Lily paper- I bought this ages ago and all it says on the packet is pink lily paper- no manufacturer or anything- so I have know idea who produces it -sorry; the bit of vellum is from my scrap stash; Ink-I actually used a "Glue Pad" for this card and then stamped the message and embossed, I also used the glue pad to apply the lily stencil designs with a sponge and added a glimmer makeup over the top- it works great just like pearlex but a lot cheaper and I don't know how archival safe it is.  Other: silver embossing powder, pink and opal glimmer make up, Brass stencil(Birch) I think,Fiskars Lace border punch and 1.5" funky heart squeeze punch, fiskars deckle edge fancy cut scissors; Adhesives-other than the glue pad- Helmar Tacky Craft Glue, Zig 2 way glue, double sided tape, foam mounting tape, Hot off the Press labels template, Pearls- Kaisercraft; Stash- Ribbon off cuts, glitter.

Hope you like it.

Thanks for visiting

Catch You Later
